Patrick, the trumpeteer, in uniform!

It is time for the unveiling of Patrick's first-ever uniformed marching band performance!

Drumroll, please!

Oh. My. Gosh. Is that kid cute, or what?! That's my baby! My baby boy - and he's in a high school marching band! He's so cute!

Mark and I just positively gush in the stands - it's so much fun! It's kind of like when we were first pregnant, and when the kids were little bitty. I just keep looking at over at Mark and telling him, "He's so cute!" "That's our boy!" And he doesn't do his usual 'macho, this woman is so sappy' thing - he actually gushes right along with me! It is so much fun!!

And, of course, with this being Patrick's very first uniformed performance, our camera batteries had to die. Of course, right? We did get a couple of good still shots, but, no videos for the folks back home. Sorry, guys.

But, GAWD! Isn't he cute!!!!!!
