Ok, ya'll - this is great! I've been seeing all different kinds of online dating sites - even blogged about one where you can find a millionaire to date!
But this - this is great - an online dating site for HIPPIES!!! I love it! I went browsing around some of the profiles, and I saw some really neat people on there!
Too bad there's not a HippiePersonal for friends - like maybe a 'HippieSpace' or something...having just moved to The Bible Belt - I'm not sure I'm completely understood by the new people I am meeting out here. And while many of them are very nice and I do want to continue to hang out with them, I would love to find a few peeps who 'get me' a little more, ya know?
Ah well - any of you sweet hippies out there need hookin' up - you know where to go!

I remember visiting this site about a year ago and really enjoying it, but now when I try to access the site it insists I enter a name and password before I can even get to the sites home page. Is it still working for you?
That is weird - I'm having the same problem! And I just posted this last month - so, it was working then...
Hopefully it is just a website malfunction and will eventually work - because as is, you can't even contact them to let them know.
I'll see if I can get contact info. some other way...
Ok, so far I've found that the original owner sold the site in November or so - perhaps the new owner is having issues with the site.

you can try www.plentyoffish.com and then put the word hippy or hippies in the interest box when you search. it's a cool free site and you can narrow the search in lots of ways, put imeem music on there, etc. pretty detailed for a free site. also, when you view a profile, any words you see under someone's interests, you can click on (they are links) and it brings up profiles for other people who share that interest. some pretty awesome folks on there if you learn how to search well...good luck. by the way, i am calico grace on there. if you make it on there come say hello!
