A very thoughtful neighbor just called to tell me not to drink our water! No coffee, no water for the dog, no KoolAid, nothing! There was a water main break, and there is too much fluoride in the water. She has been sick since yesterday. We knew she had gotten sick yesterday, we just didn't know why - until her husband found out today what happened.
The college has sent out an email to all of the faculty and students, and the elementary and high school has told the children in our neighborhood not to drink the water when they get home.
Hmm...things that make you say...hmmm....
Strange day this is. With all of this odd stuff happening, I may just need an energy supplement to keep going.

Wow.. im guessing that there must have been a mad rush for bottled water in your neighborhood? What I can't do without clean, drinkable water..
Yep - said sweet neighbor had just returned from the store with gallons and gallons of water for feeding her family of five, and her and her mother's six dogs!!
Luckily, I found some bottled water in the garage!
But do I really want to pour out 16.9oz bottles of Dasani to make spaghetti? Or should I just change the dinner plan? Will be a shame to 'drain' the spaghetti...
'Spose I could give the 'drained' water to the dog when cooled...
