I was listening to some different Country Bands and I found one artist from Tennessee that I really like, Jayne Nelson. She has a sweet, pretty voice that kind of reminds me of some of the ballad-type singers from the late 80's.
I was also checking out some Jazz Artists, and I found a really great one named Brian Evans. I love his music - he has such a wonderful and soothing and seductive voice - I just love it!
I think I could spend all day on that site, listening to all kinds of different artists. I'm definitely bookmarking it.

Oh, I loves me some country! It's all the Judd's fault! In the sixth grade - the song 'Grandpa' - and I was HOOKED!!

mahalo for the Brian Evans recommendation. Other music has ususally taken the forefront in my life, but jazz has always been woven into the background. Had to be of course, having been raised outside of New Orleans. Loving this guy, though I hear as much 40's swing as I do jazz in this selection. Wonderful stuff!
I know, Skeet - that's what I liked about it - it reminded me of my grandmothers - I just love that stuff!!
