My little songstress

Sammie had a choir concert at the college on Sunday and she was - I'm sorry, it's true - the prettiest one on the stage!

It was a really neat concert, in which the college choirs all performed, as well as the college band - and then, of course, our sweet elementary school choir.

I was so impressed by my little Beauty Queen, and a little jealous, and even felt a little left out as I began to feel her drift further away from me, in the way that every child should.

Bittersweet.

But she definitely wooed her father and I. I think we both fell in love with her all over again!
